How to apply nail tips correctly

1. Choose the size: The tip should cover the natural nail from side wall to side wall without touching the skin. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one and file the sides to fit.
2. Prepare the natural nail: Push back the cuticle, lightly buff the surface and remove the dust.
3. Glue: Apply a thin layer of BNC Tip Glue to the contact area of the tip, place the tip at a shallow angle at the free edge and press it on without air bubbles.
4. Cut and adjust: Cut the tip to the desired length and gently blend the transition between tip and natural nail with a file such as the BNC Zebra File 100/180 – without filing into the natural nail.
5. Build: After dehydrating and priming (e.g. with the acid-free BNC Primer Ultra Bond), apply the gel or acrylic overlay. A tip alone is not a durable extension – only the overlay provides stability.
